in the book Tracker the author by Gary Paulsen is not experiencing the people on how they dress but on axion he dose. on the book i just read it called Holes by Louis Sachar the describe them by the way thay dres. in the text is siad "thay where wharing a light orang sependers".the athor thinks its importint becaues he wonts the reader to vishion the scene in there head.

It is important to use our observations/knowledge of the world around us to understand and make meaning out of what we read. Thinking about your experience with the writing excursion, how much importance does your author place on how two characters in your book dress/look? How do you know this?

Andrew good job giving the title and author. So exactly what scene is Sachar trying to put in your head if he discusses wearing white with orange suspenders? You are right it is important.
